Loan Against Property Eligibility

The basic eligibility requirements to apply for a Loan Against Property at India Kredit include:

Age: Applicants must be between 21 years and 65 years of age (at loan maturity).

Property Ownership: The applicant must be the legal owner of the residential or commercial property being mortgaged.

Property Type: Residential apartments, independent houses, villas, commercial shops, office spaces, and industrial properties are generally accepted.

Minimum Income: No fixed minimum income requirement — eligibility is based on property value, income stability, and repayment capacity.

Credit Score: A credit score of 700 or above is preferred. However, applicants with lower scores may still be considered depending on property quality and other factors.

Nationality: Applicants must be residing citizens of India. NRIs may be eligible on a case-by-case basis.

Employment Type: Both salaried individuals and self-employed professionals / business owners can apply.

Employment / Business Stability: Salaried applicants should have at least 2-3 years of total work experience. Self-employed applicants should have a business vintage of at least 3 years.

Existing Liabilities: Existing loan obligations, EMI commitments, and overall debt-to-income ratio are considered during eligibility assessment.
